Our founder, Asal Ibrahim, has been drawn to fashion for as long as she can remember. She began sketching designs at just ten years old, driven by a fascination with beautiful, well-made clothing and the details that make a piece both distinctive and practical.

Her education and professional career initially took her on a different path. With a background in Power Engineering and Sustainability, Asal built a career spanning more than 15 years in the energy and sustainability sectors, leading projects internationally.

Years later, she reconnected with her earliest passion and founded Asal Collective, bringing with her the values and disciplines that shaped her professional journey. The precision and meticulous attention to detail of an engineer, the conscious thinking of a sustainability professional, and her lifelong appreciation for timeless design all became part of the brand’s DNA.

As a working mother and executive herself, Asal understood the need for clothing that could keep pace with the lives of modern women. Pieces that feel sophisticated and powerful, yet remain practical, versatile, and effortless to wear.
